bureaucracies that make up the meat and gristle of our political system would dig their heels in and
defend where they can our bloodied Constitution. I know some of these folks... none as highly placed
as Comey, but people who are much like him. This testimony of his is an example of that hope in
action. We all owe this man (and weirdly enough, John Ashcroft, who I've always considered to be a
buffoon of the highest order) a vote of real thanks. This is gripping testimony, real drama of a real situation. Soon, we'll find out what heinous document
Ashcroft was being pressured to sign. In this case, Democracy won.
