Thanks for your thoughts.  But I like the verse-prose lyrical stuff & I don’t want to write straight prose unless I feel like it.  It’s just that simple, I’m just that simple & I don’t feel even a single hard feeling about you skipping my posts or hiding me altogether from your board.  In fact it’d warm my heart to know you’re not going through any undue trouble on my behalf.  Those who can follow the opaque liquidity of my drivelese have offered warm feedback via the PM function.  Two or three twisted poetic folk who see the world through Willy Wonka glasses from time to time have tipped their hat; …good enough. You’re probably not in the minority, though.  Even I have to be in a particular mood to read my own stuff.  That kinda buzzed area after strenuous exercise or meaningful sex or an inspired activity or several glasses of Killian’s or just before bed or just waking-up…or…well anything that leads a mind into that grandiose

This is thee board for a helova poet…from a computer-savvy big big fan of a poet…isn’t it?  Lyricist, musician, composer, poet, same-same pretty much.  So I’d rather honor that with a few poor stanzas and the occasional extraordinary one than blast out with pissing-contest after pissing-contest with the best of them and enter newsreel talk-points back & forth with those who are far more astute with that medium…or joke the jolly jokers who keep this board filthy & fearless, or dance with the faceless, cringe with the unfamiliar, nudge-nudge with the somewhat familiar or argue semantics wthe somewhat freakoid but far too pragmatic to open windows to the four winds, or the frigid or the oversexed and yet still vexed by the powers that be or the digitized or, sadly…mournfully…, the sordid &/or myopic Bushco family fun machine for goodkillers with a gun to tote and no clue outside of the status quo as to who to shoot or not shoot or who to save or not save.   Not that there's anything wrong with any of that.  No offense, …there’s just too much shit goin down everyday anymore to put too much credence in bad roads already traveled …when there’s newness still in music, poetry, paint, film, honest sorrows, whiskey bar brawls & ascending rhetoric not intended to win votes or kill souls for profit.  So if I’m not with m’ wife & kids…or aiming to earn a buck without destroying something vital, if I’m going to be on this rig clicking in digi ones & zeros, it’s going to be to write & read stuff in a way that gets me off….

If you made it this far:  I’m just gona write what comes to mind for the time being…and read most everything posted.  No apologies given or expected.   I do appreciate your post.
