The scene when Depp is at the campfire with the mountain men and they get in their argument and shoot each other is hilarious. Billy Bob, as usual, does an excellant job. Also, the scene where Depp shoots Gabriel Byrne (wasn't it?) is probably how 99 percent of shooting battles occur. Wonderful.
