I am in Venezuela today and witnessed some of the protests first hand.  For a parallel, imagine if instead of hounding Dan Rather via Foxnews after the semi-bogus story about Bush's National Guard years, the government instead had put CBS off the air . . . and taken everyone's job in the process.
