OK, after 2 spins through, the general impression is that no new ground is broken, although I've come to expect that from McCartney releases. He's never been one to follow or set trends, and this is no exception.Completely listenable, somewhat deeper than usual lyrics, and the usual mix of Macca trademarks, including "Yeah Yeah Yeah" lyrics and a song with a whistled chorus. Some of the songs really really seem to be about Linda. I would put this set closest to "Driving Rain" of anything he's done in the last 20 years or so.
