He has always been paper-thin.  His televised debate during the last election proved that, in my mind.  His "grow the GDP" solution makes him sound Republican, and I'll be the Republicans could better pursue that strategy should we choose to do so.
Have you ever checked out who Edward's base is? Hanging out with the likes of Danny "I love Hugo Chavez" Glover is not going to help him look like he is remotely near the center.

A centrist Democrat with a Republican congress as a check on power would be the best way to bring our debt down.  Recent history shows that when either party has both executive and legislative power, the result will be an orgy of spending.
No words of truth have been better spoken. Bush has spent like a drunk sailor all the while being labeled a hard core conservative. Between trying to get Harriet Myers in as a justice and this Amnesty Bill passed he has pretty much alienated the small base he once had. Not to mention leaving Scooter Libby out to dry. I have no doubt Georgie will pardon Libby as he exits office...

I'm wanting a Democrat for president this time, but I would certainly support a Romney or a Giuliani over Edwards, without question. |
It should be interesting to see who comes out of Mitt, Rudy G and Fred T as the leader. Right now my money is on Mitt but I like all 3 at this point.
