I have heard great things about the DR. Punta Cana has one of the best beaches I've seen. To the left of our resort was nothing but turquoise water, white powdery sand and palm trees; no people, no resorts, no nothing. Paradise.

Did you go sailing at all? Not this year. I went on a catamaran trip around Antigua last year and barfed my brains out. I guess I don't have what you'd call "sea legs". I wanted to die. I stayed on terra firma this year.

Was the water wonderfully warm? You can't imagine....

Any interesting music? Pretty much the standard merengue type. I think I heard a cover of "Compassion" but I'm not sure. It may have been the "mamajuanas" we we drinking. It's a local version of white lightening. I don't know what that stuff was made from but it's potent. I'm pretty sure I saw a palm tree melt.

Can you tell I'd like to get down there again? I can't recommend the place high enough. GO!!
