I bought the package yesterday and watched the DVD last night - excellent. It started me off on a Wlibury's tangent - ended up pulling out music by all of the members individually (aside from Dylan, as I don't have any of his stuff). Interesting when you look at the liner notes to see how intertwined these guys music was - they really were friends as well as collaborators. There are 4 bonus tracks along with the original CDs and it's all been re-mastered (by Jeff Lynne). I played the first CD in the car on the way home from Albany and the girls thought '"they rock" - enough said!
I enjoyed the bit on the DVD where they explained how they came up with the seemingly random sound-bites on 'Dirty World' - by distributing magazines on a variety of subjects and picking out phrases. It was also funny seeing Roy Orbison geting stuck with "I love your trembling Wilbury" while the others had different sayings each time. Sad however, seeing that empty rocking chair and photo of RO when Roy sang his part in the video for 'End of the line'....
