…Saw a good movie last night. We didn’t want to see it, …but it was the only one that had not already started ~~ it was a spontaneous “Hey, lets stop & see a flick!” scenario. Probably you’re not going to want to see it either, until it’s on DVD…maybe, but it’s better than you think, …it’s much better than we thought it’d be, …hey, it’s not a bad little comedy/drama, …trust me. It’s got heart…& there are a couple o cool end songs by Loudon Wainwright: One called “Daughter” (the better of the two in my opinion) & the other titled “Grey in L.A.". We don’t have a daughter, won’t be having one…in this lifetime…but I bet it would be a wonderful thing if we did…& I welled up a bit listening to Loudon resonate about it. Well…, it might have been the effects of the last 15 minutes of film; touching stuff…yeah, yeah…softy…I know. You’ll laugh, it’s funny…& not “stupid” like the trailer might lead you to believe. Peace.
