I would put City of God in my all-time top 10. Extraordinary in every way! Our Blockbuster is clearing its shelves of VHS tapes and I recently purchased it for about $1.50. Many films are overrated, but this is not one of them. The director elicited superb performances from a cast of young people who I believe were non-actors.
