It's now been a quarter century since we entered the digital music era. Remember how bad the first reissues were? And how damn much they cost? And how about those super long boxes they used to package them in? It is funny looking back to 1986. CDs were available alongside cassettes and vinyl in record stores. I remember buying Boomtown on cassette first, then vinyl, and finally on CD. I don't miss much about the cassette, but sure do miss the artwork one could enjoy with vinyl. I have refused to get onboard with IPods and mp3s, and continue to buy my music as compact discs.
