I agree with edlorah that you can't blindly accept just any old information from the 'net, but also that it doesn't mean there isn't good information out there if you look.
I don't watch the mainstream media at all anymore (for war news). As Eric (I think) pointed out earlier, they are totally sensationalizing the war and it's repulsive. I've been getting a lot of my news from a source that I consider to be fairly unbiased and objective. a group of roughly 50 unpaid and singular bloggers from all over the world reporting from their own perspective on one common blog and updated constantly.
Why? So we can post breaking war news in one convenient place, and not all over the web.
What counts? Links and breaking news (keeping the rants for our home blogs).
