Pat's a Dominionist. Sorta like an overfed jihadist who wants other people to do his suicide bombing. A portly, lockstep poltroon with the guts of a hyena. And yea, verily, he will relinquish his evil, or he shall meet my blade.

I personally wish that the hard-right Islamic fundamentalists and the hard-rigfht Christian fundamentalists would just pick some place (like maybe some non-life-supporting region of West Texas) and start chopping each other to ribbons, leaving us out of their sorry, backwards wars. Good riddance, I'd say, to the lot of them. from the Taliban to the Warriors for Christ. But the sad thing is, they'd probably join forces, as they have much more in common with each other than with anyone else.

These are people who are much too emotionally connected to their fantasy life, and they can make life almost intolerable for the rest of us. People so desperate for a Daddy Figure that they're willing to kill anyone who raises an eyebrow at such infantilism.
