DaWayne's a nice guy, and very talented. I traded him one of my AFMs for a treasure trove of unreleased/live Chicago stuff a few years back. Sisyphus is a great album, even for those who don't care for Chicago. It's got its share of tripe, but the good stuff is much more muscular and well-written than anyone would have a right to expect from what had by then devolved into a group of musically competent chart whores. It's nowhere near as "out there" as you might think for an album that was rejected as not commercial enough. And DaWayne didn't leave Chicago, he was fired. It would take too much time and space to relate the details here; also, I'm pretty sure you can dig them up elsewhere on the web if you're so inclined.
Anyway, if I remember correctly, there were some tacky insults thrown DaWayne's way on this board having something to do with him being barred from that site for stalking Gilbert's ghost. I think they came from the webmaster in question, but I could be wrong.
