Couldn't agree more, Kyle.  And such a tragic death.  I suppose you know the sordid details..I won't even post them here, but a good friend of mine who has a small record label talks to Levon Helm from time to time, so he often reminisces about life and times with the Band.  Also sad about the fairly recent passing of Rick Danko. 

Those guys really had their moments.   I think they cut their chops playing some pretty gnarly places in Northern Ontario or thereabouts.  Canadjun eh? 

Well, mostly Canadian.  Levon is from Arkansas, I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, played with Ronnie Hawkins before the Band.  I think on Last Waltz, they did  a "reunion" set of sorts, with Ronnie.  You did see Last Waltz...didn't you??  If not....
