Oh come now.

First, it seems you are assuming that most of us are bastards, or are descended from such. I'll be the first to admit to a whole lot of miserable bastards in the family tree, but that doesn't mean I don't know who my daddy is!

Second: The tendency of royals to intermarry (and I haven't seen the stats on this) could as easily be a form of "tribalism" as anything else. No conspiracy theory is needed to explain why people of similar social standing or wealth tend to hook up, nor to explain why this practice carries on throughout history, even after the world's various revolutions.

Third: whether bastards are or are not registered is hardly a sound test of whether or not they are related to royalty. When Genghis Khan took over large portions of the Earth's habitable surface, he had a tendency to father children with women of those lands. (Not an uncommon practice for invading rulers of history.) There is a pretty good chance that a lot (if not all) of the people reading this are descended from those kinds of relations. And the royals, too.

Like it or not, you are as related to everybody else as everybody else is.
