Ha, ha. But seriously, it's hard sometimes for me to square the impression of Republicans (I'm not registered to either party) that we read on this board with the living, breathing ones I see every day. My wife being a Latin American immigrant seems to not matter one bit to the people in the neighborhood, who have accepted here unconditionally. They are almost all Republicans (I can tell by the bumperstickers, but they are also almost all very nice, friendly, responsible, caring people.) Sometimes it really pains me to read the vitriole that comes from either side about one another.
