I was watching the dual dvds of Beach Boys: American
Band / Brian Wilson "I Just Wasn't Made for these times"
and it made me realize how much influence Wilson has in
regards to my personal musical tastes. I also realize what
a pompous ass Mike Love is. Three great songs tip an
obvious hat to Wilson which remain in rotation on various
playlists of mine, "Brian Wilson Said" from Roland
Orzabel/Tears for Fears from the "Elemental" disc, of
Course DB "Secret Silken World", and Buckingham's DW
My Beach Boy favorites would include "Surfs Up" ,Til I
Die, Rio Grande, and of course Good Vibrations.
