Wow, lot's of good stuff on these lists. I have receieved the new Jayhawks but I am not immediately impressed, maybe it will grow on me.

I am really enjoying a band from Chicago called Dolly Varden. http://www.dollyvarden.com The new one, "Forgiven Now" has led me to pick up everything I can get by them. Check them out.

I recieved a copy of "Elephant" by the White Stripes on vinly. These are a couple of really strange kids but I like what they are doing musically. ( in small doses )

I finally picked up "Alice" and "Blood Money" by Tom Waits for no one. Good stuff if you have a taste for Mr. Waits.

Minus 5 - Down With Wilco A Tradgedy In Three Halfs Minus 5 with members of Wilco and REM. Nice pop tunes....

Lynne Me Your Ears A Tribute To The Music Of Jeff Lynne http://www.NotLame.com A fun double disc set of Lynne tunes performed by a plethera of power pop's best hope, including one track by Todd Rundgren. ( Bluebird Is dead )

A Fine Mess - Of Course

Peter Gabriel - Secret World Live on DVD Killer ! I have to wonder if some of Pete's vocals are pre-recorded in this show, any thoughts?
