I can just see DB and the NFU camping it up between news bits and guests on a talk show. Since I've never seen DB live...or even in film...all I can imagine is him kind of taking on an anti-Paul Shaffer role on a TV show. The band leaders tend to provide a much needed "Yes Man" role on talk shows and Mr. Baerwald could be a refreshing "No-Man."
I see a band clouded in a haze of cigarette smoke. However, I think that Mr. Baerwald's input into any television show would be far too educational for prime time. Let's get him set up as the house band for Crossfire!
