While growing up, the neighbor's next to us had three boys and a girl. One time before they were getting ready to move, their parents put out a bunch of stuff for the garbage men. It was stuff their kids had out grown. Amongst the goodies was an electric 8 track tape player. They threw it out because the left or right channel wouldn't play. All it took was for me to take it apart and re-attach a broken wire. Then it worked fine and I would play the Doobie Bros greatest hits over and over again.
