What is legion in the 21st Century? What is a band; what is a throng? I don’t know. We sure aren’t much of a multitude anymore, and there’s nowhere near enough of a hubbub to create a ruckus amongst the community. I don’t know, Pavlov may have started something that our groovy & happenin nation-traveling oligarchs have mastered in full and expedited with the swiftness of a slight-of-hand master before an awestruck house.

You’re a notorious smart cookie, db, so I imagine you’re speaking ironically with regards to messybear, but the meat of your post is pure fact. & anyone reading it who still peddles, “…go along to get along; my country, right or wrong,” is…well, just simply misguided by the shiny lights of the prevailing media and almost certainly eternally dangerous to the future generations ~~ those who, like us, didn’t ask to be born and to whom we owe the best efforts of the remainders of our lives.
