None of this is new. None of this is a surprise. Anybody that was paying attention could have seen this coming from miles away. We knew before a single vote was cast in the primaries that the two candidates that would cause the most muck flinging were Obama and Clinton. We knew these were the two candidates the Republicans would prefer to face. We knew that the strategy against Obama would be to get people to forget the candidate and think of him as "the black guy" and in this case the "angry black guy" even though this is not who he is at all.

My feeling about this is so what. It's nonsense but Pat is right about the fact that there will be plenty of people who are swayed by this nonsense. This is more potent than the "Swiftboating" of Kerry and it will eat this country (and election) alive. It is said that this is some of the info that the Clintons felt could destroy Obama and it's all about race...what a surprise.

This is incredibly dumb but it's got legs and really...we knew it was coming.
