I'm very much against the Clintons but I'm mostly done with this race because I'm not really a strong supporter of any of the candidates. Hey, I think Dan said he was supporting Hillary too and I don't look down on you guys or anybody that does...I just don't believe in supporting them. I think they are dirty politicians and I think we need to move away from that. Guys like Obama and Edwards are not dirty. A guy like Sheldon Whitehouse is not dirty. There are some good people out there and I think we should try to stick by them. The reason I condemn voting for the Clintons is because I think they are part of the problem, simple as that.

Yes, I think Obama is the best of what's left and I think he could make a good president but he'll be in the fight of his life every day he holds office. He'll have to face not only the problems our country is dealing with right now and the Bushco blunders but also the people who would insist he fail. The people who are driving this nonsense about him right now, that he is a Muslim, that he does not support the United States, that he's just an angry black man...these people are not going away after he is elected. They will be there every day to make his job harder and push him toward failure no matter what it might cost this country. He'll be mocked, insulted, side tracked, sabotaged, and Jimmy Carter-ed. Can he overcome that? Could anybody? I have no idea.

It has become the nature of things that the most mediocre rise to the top in politics and we have some very mediocre candidates. I might have the audacity to hope but both my feet are on the ground too.
