I saw Bruce Springsteen and the E St Band tonight in Seattle. I've seen them many times over the years
and tonight's show was really great. They steered clear of most of the dreck on the new CD and played
a tight two and a half hour show of good new stuff and some unexpected stuff from the catalogue:
'Trapped', 'Point Blank', and 'Because the Night'.The highlight for me was 'Badlands', a song that seems more relevant now perhaps than at any time in
the thirty years since Bruce wrote it. I think that the audience felt the same and it was really touching
to see and feel people's responses.I realized tonight that it's been 33 years since my first Springsteen concert.... yikes!
