Actually Pat, I agree with your inkling that Obama might not prevail in a General Election, but not because of the stain of Rev. Wright.  Polls already show that the Rev. Wright thing has not had lasting impact on Obama's image.  What I do forsee happening however, is that a significant percentage of Hillary devotees, may drift to the McCain camp, as well as some "independents", which might tip the scales in favor of McCain. 

A while back I was quite certain that the Dems would sweep a general election. Now, I'm not sure of anything.
