Pancake, ESR is one of my all time favs, and I think the Baerwaldians here need to get off their
collective corpus logos and go give it a listen...post haste.
I met Adam also, when he played near here in Virginia with the Bolts of Melody tour. Very friendly
and we had a nice chat, and got some pix with him. I also met and started corresponding with
Gerald Menke his pedal steel player. We even collaborated on a little guitar tune of mine, which was
big fun.
I've also had some Emails from Jez, on occasion. Usually we just talk about recipes. I learned from
the guys in Terra Diablo when they toured here that Jez is not only a kick ass drummer but
outstanding cook. I hope we get to hang a bit after the show, if I'm still conscious at that point.
If the road from "Mountain of Iron" is not too far from Chicago, I'd recommend heading off for the
show there...forget which venue they're playing, Pan, but they will do a Chicago date. Nice to hear from another enlightened SWD afficionado. Now I need to tell the Swervies to give
Triage a listen...immediately.
