In my opinion REM became bloated by fame after Document and their music has never quite been the same... Depite moments of brilliance. I REMember seeing them during the Green tour and asking a bunch of people aftwerwards what they thought. Their main response? "Not bad for a new band." Think I'll go listen to Chronic Town...
