Yah...well, I get angry. It’s that simple. Been angry. Comedy is the saving grace of the angry, …if anything is ever really funny anymore. Life is a balance between anger, and hope, and the (fulcrum) moment at hand which keeps one acting in favor of something meaningful rather than falling prey to one’s basest aggravations &/or rage. It’s just so riling that the biggest assholes on the planet have the most ambition. & it’s used in the worst ways to quell all the best that humanity is capable of. & there is no shortage of mindless toadies and so-called staunch republicans (tucking in their packaged shirts and harrumphing) to oink-help strafe the plains that were once fertile. I keep going back to that metaphor for 20th Century corporo-bidness shenanigans, Chinatown. Anybody who prescribes to our present debacle in tough little pink man-toady fashion (the new true-blue American) is helping to build the wall that will jail us all in soot. Integrity is so gone out the window, replaced by yes-men & plastiform packaged pragmatism. Funny thing is, if you are in the minions of tough little pink man-toadies today you are actually walking with your chest out and your head held high ~~ just like Caligula before the …whatever
& those who can think and remember how it is to stop and taste the honeydripper as she walks into the room of benign night………are on the outs and called “lib” and it’s a total sham yea know, dad-dad-daddio! & that’s one in a hundred too many counted sorrows to be asked to weary on home with again
It’s why our old soul ~ ol pal, Reg, needs NOT be censoring his good/bad self ~~ cheating people of a healthy modicum of well-meant tête-à-tête for peeves sake o some o Leopold Bloom’s newest broom. I mean, …..seeing it in every way and keeping it PC for the lot may be heroic to some extent, but it’s also discounted and moribund and no birds can thrive there …so they fly away …following the honeybees to surf some fabled shoreline break not hampered so badly by the mongerings of assholes & their gone-inside wives.
