"I saw it last Saturday and enjoyed it a lot. The acting and direction were terrific. My gripe with Chris, the lead character, was that he never had the decency to let his parents know that he was alright. I admired much about him, but thought this glaring omission demonstrated real thoughtlessness on his part.

That a few other things definitely made me more sympathetic to Krakauer's slant on the story than Penn's. Nonetheless, it was a really interesting film, both to watch and then to think about.
