Ha! Of course, Mess, it's my poll so I get to play with the data! The no comment thing and the idea of using just numbers to reply had to do with getting more
people to respond...so these comments are fine here but what I did not want to happen was for
people not to reply because they thought this poll was just another excuse to say nasty things to
each other. For example, the Poll Post has been read about 80 times but look how few responses we have in
comparison. I mean we could say some people have read it more than once but I would guess
about 30 or 40 people have read it and said nothing. I just thought not posting comments would make more people feel comfortable giving their
thoughts. Using just number ratings eliminates the hassle of actually writing out all sorts of
opinions and thoughts and does not open anybody up to getting bashed for what they say. This will have nothing to do with figuring who might win, who people will vote for, or what
somebody's political IQ is...hell we could be rating our favorite ice cream...it was meant first and
foremost to be easy and I hoped to get a lot of people to respond. We are only getting limited response so far based on number of responses and number of times it's
been read. I thought/hoped people would be comfortable doing this. Hopefully we'll see some more responses
and more than just those of the usual suspects. It's free, it's easy, it's fun (sort of), and I'll give thoughts on it when I think it's reached a point
where we just aren't going to get any more responses. And I have a few more polls in mind if this
one works well.Come on lurkers! I'm rooting for you folks to kick in!
