Thanks for sharing that! I do wish that I could come along some time on your adventures. I've long wished to visit South America--although my first destination choices aren't necessarily the (admittedly wonderful) silent, desolate spots you mention. I want to visit Macchu Piccu, for example. I'm fascinated by such places.
