His wife Michelle is exactly the sort of temperament I’d like to see in a First Lady for a change.  If she caught Barack boinking the local cathouse first-string, I think she’d put a sensible size-whatever spectator pump up his ass ~~ as it should be, & if he began to falter or lose focus, I believe she’d take him into her space…& give him an adjustment.  I think, for a change, there is a true matrimonial (familial) bond in these two (certainly affluent, but also) people very seemingly grounded in earnest human effort (historically).

The biggest argument I seem to get for Clinton over Obama is experience.  Experience?  What is that…in terms of the Presidency?  What experience did Dubya have…and who voted him in TWICE.  His experience was about failure and daddy’s influence, and some homespun bullying and perhaps some early-stage Nixonesque megalomania, and crazy-eyes standing, like muscle, behind papa at the dais…and hee-haw ambition & a lifelong golden parachute of impunity for horrors against the state.  How about Mrs. Clinton?  Perhaps a meaningful organizer for the whole of the US at one time, at one time an optimist/ground-pounder perhaps, now certainly the sweetheart of the jet set mainstream lobbyists for the big 3 monster corporo-carte-blanche movers and shake-up-the people-and-stagger-them-‘till-they’re-prostrate-before-the-Fortune-Five.  At least Mr. Obama has some history of meaningful efforts on behalf of local citizens/constituents, immediate humanity issues, etc.  Hand in pocket too?  Well, sure, it’s the path to POTUS.  But who the person is before becoming POTUS is what they will be as POTUS, just magnified over time in office…& silvery-haired for the wear & tear.  & we’ve had some humdingers, Gene-Geno, and now we want another shill for the same industrial blight that’s been rusting us out for decades?  Why not try a little variety, Gene?  Just once?  8 years…seems like so little…after this past massive vile fiasco from the devil’s colon.

I believe no one is prepared to be POTUS.  NO one!  & those who do take the oath bring who they really are into the office for 4-8 years and this, plus the management they keep in close company, is the President that they become.  Look at the present cabinet:  Eeeouch!, twisted, bloodcurdling, ruthless, mindless with a sneer and a chuckle and callous greed and some schoolyard do-unto-others-then-split mentality.  It’s what they were before and it’s what they are now.  What will the Clintons be?  I voted “the Mr.” in twice, but much has gone down since…and the present Clintonian process…gives me the howling-heebie-jeebies…honestly.  The best President for the job is the one who will do everything a President is scheduled to do…while adding the subtle nuances of the spirit of the being before she/he was sworn in.  Experience, in this case, is moot.  With the right kind of management, you could be POTUS.  I couldn’t, just because, but many could.  McCain & Clinton could.  But why the f#ck would anyone of sound mind and body want them to?

Mr. McCain?  Centurian Card-carrying, shape-changing, world traveler, when not the industrious show-er-upper-&-vote-everything-Bushco, historically?  Nope. No, thank you. F#ck no.  Please, no.  Thank you for your service, …FLA is nice this time of year.  Not POTUS, that’s Danger, Inc.  Same ol’ same ol…but with a more articulate delivery.

Mrs. Clinton?

Well heeled lady turned sovereign-schoolmarm, motherly-talking & occasionally teary-eyed, chilling-to-the-bone when not vaguely (if just slightly more left-leaning) Margaret Thatcher-like, front-lady for the machine that eats us alive, historically?   Nope.  Please nope.  Please just consider the oligarchy at work here?  Yes, somebody’s mom, no doubt beloved.  BUT we’re talking “two families” …with their hands on the tiller.  Come-on!  I will beg.  You want me to beg?  Okay, I’m begging.  Please don’t do it to the children.  It doesn’t take a village!  & 8 more years of taking a beating from the Senate seats might just crack the hull in half and sink us….

Or Mr. Obama?

Ambiguous (all of them ambiguous) but, historically, a seemingly forthright cat unafraid of publishing his own ideas for the hoi-polloi to ponder, who I believe knows a little about the streets he lived on or nearby.  A one-time, part-time teacher of Constitutional law, who can likely shop for groceries if need be, but also perfectly groomed to meet & greet with dignitaries, without embarrassing our country.  A gent from both working & privileged circles who, after pounding the pavement from (LA) Occidental to (NY) Columbia U to Harvard Law to U of Chicago, was shown the measure of the system & gifted with funds that filled his coffer with some good and probably some bad money, who took a seat on the possibility train with a handful of privileged and just simply erudite movers & shakers who oversee his politics in the 21st Century.  & all this in the company of a beautiful, tellingly supportive, wife with style as well as resilience & what appears to be genuine fearless love?  ….hmm, …okay…I’ll take a chance.  THE ONLY option available, IMHO.  Even if I’m completely off the mark here in my attempt to describe the candidates in simple terms (the only terms I know), you get right down to it:  There are three choices.  Two are DC Status Quo Royalty …& one is a contender with verve and a slightly skewed new wave of thoughts, and an excellent eloquent delivery.  & he does not give me the heebie-jeebies (Hill) or the sticky feeling of something sordid (McC).

Given the options, it’s no challenge for me to choose & ~~ after the past umpteen years of American declines ~~ I cannot even imagine it anything less than a landslide.  Well, given the mindlessly conservative vote, maybe I can.  Sheeeeeez, (cover their ears ‘cause I’m gona scream it) what does it  F^CKING take!?!
