Newsweek's May 12 issue has an article that I think is worth reading. By taking the time to read it you will also effectively cut down the time you can spend here sniping at one another.

Among the topics it covers are the media, global stability, the war and and as the title says the rise of many other economies that need to factor into our "post-American" world.
What the story gave me was a perspective which I guess i had almost completely lost or at least one I was unable to see, for all the noise of TV, The Net and all of its combined dire rhetoric.
