I just picked up two of the new Abkco Rolling Stones remasters - Let It Bleed and Their Satanic Majesties Request - and am thrilled with the results.  I don't consider myself a huge (or even very big) fan of the Stones, but was intrigued by these new releases.  If you don't know what I'm talking about - here's a link.

These discs are a new breed of hybrid CDs that are both regular CD and the new SACD....on a dual layer disc (similar to a dual layer DVD).  I've had a chance to listen to these on an SACD player, and the difference is HUGE.  Instrument placement and detail take on a whole new role for the listener.  It's hard for me to describe...and can only say you must hear these for yourself.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for re-released/remastered/repackaged CDs - but this is the first time I was ever truly satisfied that my money was well spent.  If you don't have an SACD player - check your DVD player - it may be SACD compatible
