It seems to me that in China, just like it was in the US, they'll pollute like mad for a few generations. Once they've accumulated a little wealth, they may see clean air as something they want to buy. Once they can afford some sacrifices they'll start to act. I'm actually more concerned about one of their shoddily constructed venues collapsing than I am about an athlete developing asthma.
