"The principles, however, are "subject to reasonable network management.""

Let's see where that statement drifts to over time, and with different Commissioners.

One day, when I've a lot of free time and am bored, I'll dig you up documentation about the next far less accessible internet. In some measure it will become so through pricing, think Yahoo and MSN wanting email postage, as one example of "reasonable network management".

Imagine too, which I've read about, a new system whereby we're all restricted to an AOL style arrangement, whether via telecom corps, or University networks, but ntl a more closed, far more consolidated means of access and distribution, which network is also more closely filtered, say ala a Euroda style mood indicator software or a PC acceptable filtering

Or, when the net neutrality war is lost, and access or more likely visibility will be determined by ability to pay fees. Thereby loading P & G at blazing speeds, and Blocks blogs at telephone modem speeds(at best).

I dearly hope I am wrong Paul, but I doubt it. Unfettered freedom to disseminate print, audio and video at light speed the world over, doesn't serve the interests of the status quo. Profits and a distracted populace via online gaming -as one example- does serve the status quo.

peaceably
