I've read most of McCarthy's stuff. He's really hit & miss. 'The Road' is one of his better efforts. If you
are interested in reading more I highly recommend 'Blood Meridian' and 'Suttree'. Both great books
and even better than "The Road'....and Reg, you can't punch me in the mouth. I'm your 'internet friend': sort of like having imaginary
friends (or the DT's) I think. I mean, if I could be punched in the mouth don't you think Pat or Dale
would've done it long ago?
