Beautiful Potatoes
Yep, my neighbor has grown beautiful potatoes this year.Mine--well, they're not homely, exactly, just a tad bit sparse, and small.The difference, I think, is that the neighbor planted only 6 or 8 potatoes in the same amount of space that I planted about 12 - 15.They dug up two plants and had as many potatoes as I had in 8 plants.So . . . spacing is very important, evidently. (Unlike with some other plants I could mention, which actually do very well when bunched, even though the seed packets don't say so.)Live & learn. Bass keep biting; baby tends to sleep through the night already; life is good.
