"So who do you think is the agressor?"

Why does it matter? At least, on a "foreign policy" scale?

Why are we getting sucked into so many "foreign entanglements" when the framers of our government so clearly warned us to stay away from such things?

Georgia thinks it owns South Ossetia, so it does what it wants down there. Russia thinks it owns South Ossetia and Georgia, so it does what it wants. And we're going to try to police the situation?

Meanwhile, we have troops in 170+ countries around the world, draining our financial resources and making us less safe by constantly aggravating the people who live there . . . .

And in order to pay for the troops being stationed all around the world, we borrow ever more from China . . .

Whoever the aggressor truly is, why are we involved? Why?
