Oh @l, Oz has its own foibles o folly & conundrum, but probably lets not make a list.
Oh how the human ego loves to gawk at another gone from a high to a low, & snicker.
Even when the human is well natured and decent in so many conceivable noble ways.
You see the way things are beginning to take shape around here, mate? Arena-sized
holding tanks for the storage of undesirables and such? It ain’t us, …we ain’t our big
tomatoes and they ain’t the people. The people are walking wounded by commercials
telling them eat this and fear that and have this and side-effects are normal and cops get
all these weapons of forgot compunction and the people get engine governors and phone
solicitations and icy cold winter settings around the TV icon & nil due process to the law.
I don’t know, bro, it doesn’t feel to me like the West invented all these whacko abuses to
life & limb; perhaps they merely kept the ugliest of history’s teachings in a box of tricks
only to pull them out one peccadillo at a time when they could find a technology or little
sociology experiment to match ‘em with. But who’s “they”? Who cares, but somebody
better get it stuck in their meaty brain housing group that whatever’s going wrong here
has adopted a portion or more of it from somewhere more adept at holy hellishness
and … it’s spreading like a virus for miles and whiles and trials upon trials of
man’s inhumanity to humanity and planetary substances that are good
are being torn and those that are profitable are being bottled.
How do we all like our bottles?
My question is: How could all of this garden vista ultimately have been for naught?

Is it just us? Today it's just us that the world digs filleting, yep. But have a real good look around @ the mass graves and bloody waters you can find here in this place we lovingly refer to as get up and go get some. Keep looking, you won’t find many. But they are a hop-skip-&-a-jump from most anywhere in the East. Have been since time immemorial. Didn't take our own tyrants sending weapons of crass enunciation over there to start the blood flowing neither. No, that's an ancient trick ... & this ain't no ancient West ~ not the one that our forefathers allowed to live outside the Rez anyway. But don't tread on your neighbors to the West, my beloved brother from another groovy mother: We, the people's people, jus like you, have known our share of both good & bad. Global business, methinks, has taught our contemporary movers and shakers a little bit about the most vile forms of oppressing the workers & with that a little bit about subjugation of the more excellent laws that govern decent people living for the kids & the weekend; mostly fearless of blood, sweat n tears, but not even remotely unlovable.
