Dan Savage was on Bill Maher's show, and the topic went to Palin's tramp offspring. He made the very astute observation that if it had been Obama's 17 year old daughter pregnant with some thug hooligan "boyfriend", the election would be over. I have this sense (of dread) that this backwards assed racist country will not elect a black man. We are collectively a bunch of timid mental midgets, afraid of our own shadow, and unable to share the sunlight.
