I always try to look at these odd items and think about why they may have appeared. The thing is you really can't trust anything anymore that comes up during a presidential election because "rat fucking" is now so popular. If you don't know what "rat fucking" is look it up, I won't explain it again here but suffice to say Karl Rove is the king of all rat fuckers...that should give you an idea.
Right off, I don't really trust this video. Sure, there is a chance that it is true but a key factor here to take into consideration is "Kevin" presents zero evidence and not a single name or witness to verify his story. Basically, he says nothing in the video, he just makes his claim and then throws in that he is working on his "career" and he is an Obama supporter...odd, no? If his only motive was to prove he was the "daddy" then he could have presented his evidence in this video, not used the video to invite the media to contact him. This obviously looks like somebody trying to make a splash.
What he says does not seem to have been concocted by a pro so my first thought is he is on his own or working with friends. Basically, it comes across as a pretty stupid stunt.
So, you have to consider the question why does this exist and start with the obvious.
1. He wants to draw attention to himself. Clearly states he's in LA working on his rap career.
2. Claims to be a Barack Obama supporter. Perhaps wants to add to the shit storm of stuff about Palin to damage her.
3. He's been paid (or put up) to do this either by DNC operatives or RNC operatives. Both sides could find benefit in this although if he's been paid to do it the RNC gains more from this than the DNC. If this was done by the DNC it was just plain dumb if it's a Rove "rat fuck" it is, like putting Palin on the ticket, "brilliant!"...that is if your idea of brilliant is scamming lots of people and destroying democracy.
So, if it is a stunt and it is not just about helping this kid promote himself then what is it about. Well, consider this, there are stories/rumors that several people have come forward in Alaska and claimed that Sarah Palin is a racist. One of the larger stories/rumors is that Sarah Palin quipped "So, Sambo beat the bitch!" when she heard that Obama had finally beaten Hillary. There are also rumors that she regularly uses derogatory terms to describe Eskimos, blacks, and other ethnicities...basically that this is a broad with zero class. Of course this stuff could be a rat fuck too, it's obvious what the Republicans want is Sarah Palin to be attacked as much as possible and I would say they would prefer these attacks to be "hysterical."
So, looking at the current "evidence", of which there is not much, all signs point to this being a fake but who is doing the faking and why is all that's left to sort out.
