Do hunt down his Daytrotter sessions and his Myspace studio session. Both showcase how brilliant he and the boys are live, which I had the pleasure of seeing earlier this year. iTunes has a wonderful b-side called "Wisconsin" worth downloading. Another act that you may dig, is the Bowerbirds, look them up.

On another musical note, I ran into Ry Cooder at an Art opening in town on Friday night. What a thrill it was to chat up the living legend, in a Art Museum of all places! Very down to earth guy.
