best yet. Always, from the very start of the NFU
concept, I wanted to incorporate not only '70's
East Oakland r&B and Appalachian harmonies,
but also a hint of 19th Century chamber music,
and modal bebop chord extensions. The 31st show was our first public tryout of this
idea. We're going to try to do something like this
once a month, with hopefully an ever-expanding
line-up of like-minded but cross-disciplined
musikvolk.. Some changes likely on the Lost Highway front.
