Miriam was a beautiful, regal lady who exuded class, and had a voice second to none...In 1992 I went to my first 'international' concert, Paul Simon, here in Johannesburg. Apart from what was at the time, a mind blowing ensemble of musicians, (Steve Gadd, Michael Brecker, a very young Chris Botti) we also had the pleasure of seeing Mama Afrika duetting with Paul on Under African Skies.... Not a dry eye in the stadium.....RIP
