We'll see, but there's a lot of excellent work being done in this area right now.

Catalyst developed to produce hydrogen from bioethanol
19-Jan-2009
A team of researchers from the University of Aberdeen has developed a catalyst, which can produce hydrogen from bioethanol. The catalyst consists of nanoparticles of rhodium and palladium 1–2 nm in size, which is deposited on nanoparticles of cerium oxide 10–20 nm in size. The hydrogen that is produce can be used in fuel cells. The hydrogen produced using this method is also claimed to be carbon neutral.
