I stand corrected, 9-7. Could just as easily have been 8-8, and I stand by my comment that they got beat by bad teams and got to the playoffs by virtue of being the least bad team in a horrible conference. Sure, they've gone on a tear, but I think that's largely due to teams looking past them, which is a stupid mistake in the playoffs.

As far as the Falcons, I could give a flying rat fart. The Falcons were lucky to do as well as they did this year, given they mortgaged the entire franchise on a sociopathic egomaniac and have now had to rebuild around a rookie quarterback who played far above his ability for all but about 3 games. The fact that one of those games was the Cardinals matters not to me as I refuse to get emotionally invested in a football team in the Southeast that plays indoors.

My reference McCain was not about Warner's politics (I agree, who cares), but that Warner has become the grumpy old man of the NFL. I can tolerate the douchebag's attitude and piousness even less than self-promoting me-first a-holes like TO and Burress, and I have no time for them at all.
