I am all for that.  I record things from time to time in a home studio (most pros would laugh at my tiny setup, but I get a surprisingly decent sound, considering the low budget gear).   I do have concerns about putting things up on MP3 that I have written though, until copyrighting/publishing  at least, is in place.   I would love to share the music with you all on DB message board, but it is still a public forum, and these tunes are then off to the wild blue yonder.   So I'd be hesitant with originals, but Dan had an idea long ago about those musically inclined to do some covers of our favorite DB tunes (that is if David wouldn't object), and called it "Punx n' Drunx".  I think that would be a hoot, and I'd be all for it.
