Wow, seems to be a popular week for people dying. I only liked his work from the May you Never era. After that, I thought he had a few screws loose,with some of the drivel he came out with. He was apparently well regarded, though. And, as I rapidly approach the age myself, the number 60, does not seem all that old...anymore.
One lyric, I find curious, for lack of a better word is the line in May You Never which goes:
"May you never lose your temper, if you get into a barroom fight...may you neve lose your woman overnight". I mean, seriously...if you're in a barroom fight (and who would want to be?), you've already lost your temper, or are too drunk to care. Really a rather droll sentiment.
